Brunner Range is the Fort Leavenworth location for learning and participating in the shotgun shooting sports. Brunner Range features four skeet fields, three trap fields, and one five-stand field. It is open to the public. Special events and leagues are held throughout the year that develop beginning shooter skills and challenge experienced shooters. A Monthly Fun Shoot is typically held the first Saturday of the month. The range also offers two Youth Camp sessions in July and August and a Women’s Clinic in September. The clubhouse features a full kitchen and amenities for group functions. The range facilities are available by appointment for private shooting and non-shooting functions. Membership is not required to take advantage of all the range has to offer. Ammunition is available for purchase and shotguns are available for rent.

Free Lessons:

The Brunner Range staff includes NRA certified and National Skeet Shooting Association instructors who teach shotgun safety and shooting techniques for beginning and experienced shooters. Lessons are available free of charge by appointment for any patron on Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m. and on Wednesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. All necessary equipment and supplies are available to rent or purchase at the range. This is a unique opportunity to learn a lifetime sport in a relaxed environment that emphasizes safety, proven techniques, and developing and improving shotgun shooting skills.
