SKIESUnlimited provides the children and youth of Fort Leavenworth with a variety of classes taught by qualified, imaginative, and dedicated instructors, creating experiences of value, excellence, and enjoyment. In addition, all Fort Leavenworth CYS Services SKIESUnlimited instructors have had local and national background checks, training in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse Awareness, Reporting and Prevention, Guidance, Child Developmental Guidelines, and Safety.

Fort Leavenworth offers instructional classes through the SKIESUnlimited program.  SKIES is an acronym for Schools of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration and Skills.  Classes are organized into four schools:

New classes coming in January!
Kindermusik ABC Music and Me for ages 2-4 years
Introducation to Italian for ages 9 and older
Creative Arts for ages 7-11
Fun with Art for ages 5-6
 
The SKIES program is currently registering students for classes that begin in January. We now offer Beginning Italian. Sì! Growing gourmets can explore new foods and cooking techniques in the “What’s Cooking” class. Budding Picassos can paint, sculpt and draw their way to new skills in the “Fun with Art” or “Creative Arts” classes. And all students can benefit from specialized instruction in our Algebra, Writing Skills, Learning Connection and Strategies for Success classes.
