Sexual Harassment Assault Response Program (SHARP):
Provides awareness and prevention, training and education, victim advocacy, response, reporting and follow-up for sexual harassment/assault issues. Army policy promotes sensitive care, advocacy, treatment, reporting options for victims of sexual harassment/assault and accountability for those who commit these crimes.'
For the purpose of this policy, Restricted reporting is defined as allowing a Soldier or civilian to report a sexual harassment/assault to specified individuals. Restricted reporting option gives the Soldier or civilian access to medical care, counseling, and victim advocacy, without initiating the investigative process and/or the legal process. Report to a SHARP specialist, Sexual Assault Response Program Manager, Installation Victim Advocate, Health Care Provider, Chaplain for Restricted reporting option.
